As their teacher, I strive to encourage my students’ natural curiosity allowing them to build on it by providing resources for finding answers to their questions whether it is through differentiated hands-on activities, textual research, technology or first-hand experience.

a classroom filled with curious minds, collaboration and questioning; a safe space where new ideas are encouraged, and mistakes are learning opportunities. In a classroom centered around community and teamwork, children can explore their potential without the risk of feeling inferior. In a classroom, where everyone is encouraged to be themselves and there are opportunities for acceptance, we not only teach one another about ourselves, but our own mindsets grow as well. I believe that each child is a motivated and capable learner and providing a space for students to explore their thoughts and feelings, struggles and celebrations, ideas and inquiries is an ideal learning environment.
